skipping stitches on only one needle

Mine was doing this and it was because the hook gap was too narrow.

Mine was doing this and it was because the hook gap was too narrow.

I have a suspicion that the problem needle is my farthest needle, so the problem is that the hook gap is larger than it should be for this needle. My closest needle sews out fine so I doubt the gap is too narrow, but the gap is probably the cause.
