I wanted to ask everyone what type of water soluable marker, pen or pencils do you use...we have several different kinds that we use for different colored fabrics but I haven't been able to find a really good one to use on fabrics that is really easy to remove...the liquid blue water soluable marker I use a lot is great on light colored fabrics but sometimes it takes me several times to remove the lines completely...I think the line is gone and when the item dries sometimes the line is still there and I have to rewet the item and either dry it with the hair dryer or wait until it air dries...we have blue, pink, white pencils and the blue and white ones have a harder lead and they don't work too good..the pink one works the best but sometimes it's hard to see...all of these are water soluable...any help will be appreciated...have a great day and until next time...Jenny

I just use the white chalk square that I got ages ago from Joanne's and it doesn't even look like it is that much smaller than when I started.
If the design doesn't cover the marks I lightly brush it right off. I have a light blue and a white.

I've tried them all, as well. I like the tailor's chalk like Debbie has. Joanne's has 1/2 off the notions wall periodically and I stock up. I have a dry white wash cloth I use to rub the marks off. Just enough abrasion from the terrycloth to do a good job.

You are welcome. One more thing-I can't remember if it came with the chalk or if I purchased it seperately it is a small approx. 2" square plastic holder for the chalk. you put the chalk in it and it fits snug & you only remove the little plastic lid when you use it and this way it doesn't get on your fingers, etc.
