    Hello to all
    we recently bought a new computer,vista 32 bit,now all designs we sew on amaya-sew with all colums about 30% wider than before the new computer?all settings are same as old computer- amaya is set on auto feed.

    Dear No Name,
    Auto thread feed has nothing to do with the stitch coordinates found in a digitized design. If your columns are wider, then your settings cannot be the same as they were on the previous computer.
    Chances are that the settings you are seeing now are Melco's default settings. Maybe you or someone had changed the previous computer's settings to something you liked better before. Such as narrower columns. And now you are looking at what everyone else is sewing??? Just a thought.
    Have you considered digitizing a column that is, for example, one half of an inch wide - without any underlay. Then sew this column out without any thread and with the thread break detection turned off. Then measure with a ruler the distance between the needle penetrations and determine if it is one half an inch or not. This will tell you for sure if something is changing in the software or if you have machine issues.
    What version of Melco software did you install on this new PC. Personally I would have stayed with Windows XP to run my embroidery PC. I don't have time to learn a new PC operating system when there are orders to fill.
