Help, I keep getting a "thread Break" message every time i start to stitch. Everything was running fine but now it will only start for a few stitches and then it stops with the "thread break" message. When I turn off the thread sensor the machine will run but with improper tension on the thread resulting in big loopy stitches. I have tried all of the needles with different designs and nothing seems to work. Is there a "reset" feature or is it something mechanical. Where should I start with the trouble shooting.

Quick thought...we do it all the time...did you reset your presser foot height? I forget after real thick jobs or hats to reset it for different shirts, etc.-and if it isn't down to the fabric enough, your stitches are too 'loose' and it trips the sensor even though the stitches aren't broken.
'big loopy' stitches to me means presser foot too high...worth checking it out!

Look at your material thickness setting. Also go into settings and look at the minimum thread feed settting. Static electricity, a surge or other electrical issue can cause these settings to become corrupt. I have seen material thickness settings go to the 200+ point range. Does cause issues.
