  • thread tube loose

I'm having difficulty keeping the flexible plastic tube that the thread passes through attached to the machine! Its on the # 7 needle and seems like every time the head moves the tube disconnects from the machine. This is on an amaya xt. Any suggestions as to what I can use to keep it on there? It goes back on easily but comes right off again. Thanks, Cheryl

If your saying the tube come off the back of the embroidery head, not the plastic tip in the thread tube.

You may want to try and cut 1/2" off of it's length. it may be deformed a bit and you won't miss the 1/2".

just remember to remove the thread first and try and cut without crushing the tube,(use a very sharp knife or razor blade.

had to do this with one of mine solved the problem.

I have also had the problem, and the self-help didn't work. I had to have a tech come out and we wound up replacing the part. It was under warranty so all I had was the tech trip to pay.
I hope you can do the repair without a tech.

Also, reroute the tubing to make sure that when the needle case moves it does not or cannot pull this tube taut . I suspect a binding/hangup during the needle case movement is the root cause.
