Needle knicking edge of bobbin

I've looked through the previous posts but can't find anything on this topic. What do I do if the needle is knicking the edge of the bobbin?

Check for a bent needle

Check hook timing for both left to right position AND forward to back position (needle guard gap ) and if you adjusted hook timing, check/adjust retaining support finger gap.
