  • Z axis timming error

I was sewing a design when some fabric got wound up into the bobbin area. Then I got a z axis timming error. Once I cleared the fabric, nothing will sew properly - just a bunch of loose thread and then a thread break error. Is this something that I can fix or do I need to call for repair?
Thanks for any suggestions you can offer.

My first suggestion is to check your hook timing, it may need re-timed. Instructions are on your CD.

Thanks, I thought I had it and finished sewing a name just fine. Now I tried sewing a large project and I'm having a lot of thread breaks on every needle that I have tried. Not too long ago, I had a repair man here to fix the timing for a "crash" I had, and it worked like a charm. Unfortunately I discovered too late that he forgot to put one of the rotary hook guards back on, and my fabric got caught in the rotary hook and caused a timing problem again. I'm probably going to have to call for a repair again.
