Did Melco and Bernina merge or something? I just saw an announcement for the new Bernina 16-needle machine and it looks exactly like my Melco Amaya XT. What's up?

Did Melco and Bernina merge or something? I just saw an announcement for the new Bernina 16-needle machine and it looks exactly like my Melco Amaya XT.

Bernina made the announcement last June at their annual Bernina University Dealer conference that they would be coming out with a 16-needle embroidery machine based on the Melco rumored to be called the BERNINA B-16 and based on the Bravo. I haven't seen a picture of it yet. Do you have a link to the announcement you saw?
