I need to find someone who can put a screenprint on waterproof dry bags (duffels.) I understand that these need to be printed with air-dry ink, and our facility uses heat curing. The bags are 50/50 PVC/Polyester. I have 24 bags that need a 1 color imprint. Is there anyone out there who can do these for me? Caren-

I hand screenprint here, and would just pick up the phone and call Nazdar Tech line-read them the content label on the bag and see which ink they recommend. I'll guess it would be a solvent based ink-in their 'vinyl ink' (VF or GV or whatever new name they have for it) line which I've used before. Air dries, or you run it through your conveyor dryer with the fan on and heat down around 150 for speed cure.
I'm way over in New Hampshire...so shipping them back and forth would be cost prohibitive for you.
I'll bet if you can figure out which ink, ask for a sample-you get a 1/2 pint can-it would be enough to do the job a couple times!
You would want to wipe down the imprint area with alcohol first to 'prep' it-if you have a manual press there set up one screen and a jig (sleeve board, something that the bag can slide over) and
you're in business!

Roland,
I need to see if I can get your help on an emergency rush order for these dry bags. I just learned that our client needs them this week (qty 24) and I haven't had time to look for someone to do a print on these. I don't care about the shipping I'll have them sent overnight to you and then you can overnight them to us. Can you either call me at 907-562-4936 or send me a phone number to contact you?
