Just noticed today I was doing a test of an image
that filled the 'gray' lined area of the smaller speed frame.
Watched as it did a trace, and no warning-BUT as the frame
went back and forth I realized that 1/4" or so BEFORE the actual
'hoop limit' line was reached, the steel frame would hit the
needle plate and raise up. If it was sewing on a good garment
that could easily distort an image.
So I'm going to remember that the 'gray line' is off by 1/4".
Thought I'd pass it along!
