TECH HELP NEEDED ASAP!!!!

If there are any techs out there, I need to speak to one ASAP!!!

I just attempted to put the cap driver on my XT and two little metal balls popped out and landed on the table. EEK!! This CANNOT be a good thing!
I have run thousands of caps and have never had this happen before.

If anyone can help, I would be so grateful!

That happen to me. When the tech was he said that sometimes a few come out. Not to worry that sometimes it happens.

I have also had a couple fall out, and haven't had any problems. Scary though.

The ball bearings can be popped back into the bearing carrier....these bearings get knocked or kicked out by not having the cap driver shaft lined up and gently pushing the cap driver into place. Keep these bearings lubed and carefully line up the shaft and the hole in the driver and ( gently ) slide it back into place. Getting agressive with this contration will result in eventually dislodging those tiny little ball bearings...

Are there instructions someplace for keeping these bearings lubed?
I do 100's of caps and have never been prompted to do any kind of lubrication on these bearings.
Did I miss something?

Here's a tip for reinserting the bearings that fall out.
I use long wooden Q-tips but you can use any kind of instument that is long and thin. Put a small amount of grease on the tip of your non magnetized instrument and this will enable you to hold the bearing to the tip until you are able to line it up with it's hole. Then the grease will help to hold the bearing in place while you reinsert the driver shaft. These bearing are lubricated with oil but the grease won't do any harm.
Guys, everyone should handle their cap drivers with "kid gloves" as these are very fumbly pieces of equipment. I tell all my customers to use two hands when working with this and when not using it to put it back in it's styrofoam lined box. (PS. This box fits perfectly underneath the machine in the Amaya cart)
I see some folks just set their cap drivers on the ground on the side or underneath the machine and this has me worried for them.

And.....NEVER...pick up the capdriver assembly by the horizonal bar alone. You risk dislodging the bar from it's hold down tab and then have a situation like another post described, the cylinder just hanging by the cables...which is not a good thing.
