cap driver fell apart

Hi all,
I took my wide angle cap driver out of the box and the long piece that attaches to the x-carrigage and allows the driver to rotate as the hat stitches is just hanging by the cable. I know somehow the cable wraps around the driver but I can't figure it out or find any literature on it. Can someone help me put it back together the right way!!

Susan,
This can be rather tricky. I salute the individual who will be able to "show you" this over the phone or amaya list.
The last time I had to do this, I had to disconnect one end other wise I would have had to force it which is not a good way to do anything.
Just know that the cables run in oposite directions.
They really should put a stop or screw or something on this to prevent this from happening.
