Hey Curtis, the wind is really picking up in spurts, isn't it? I'm at Highland Knolls, 3 blocks from the HEB on Mason. Where are you? I'm leaving everything where it is. Never been through extreme bad weather. Maybe I will get an XT, LOL! And my husband has been and still is on the phone all day with Dell! My kids have friends over. Take care, I'm there with you. Don't know about everyone else, but I stayed up all through the winds and rain working on a puzzle till 6am! I thought the wind would carry my 130 lb. Yellow Lab off when I took him outside, but no broken windows and electricity is still on! Hurray! My husband is working in Old Katy taking calls re: outages. Kids upstairs doing the usual. Sky is gray and it's still raining. Life is good. Thank you to everyone for your concern and well wishes. Edna

Hi Curtis, weird! I live in Oak Park Trails too, catty-corner from the Highland Spa. Our lights just flickered for a few minutes, twice, then came on and stayed on. We just went food hunting, Taco place open but no drive through. We are so much luckier than some who were told they may have wait 4 weeks or more for the electric to resume. And here I've been complaining for 6 years that our subdivision has no trees! Glad you're doing ok too. We'll have to get together sometime to talk "shop"! Thank you for your thoughts Ed and everyone else. Hope this is all the excitement for the rest of the year! Edna
