  • Terrible sewing on XTS

I have 3 machines I use for my job. We have one machine that just does not sew well like the other two. Fine lines, details, are just not done well. I am attaching pictures of the same logo but on two different machines. Can anyone help me figure out why this one machine is so awful?! Thank you!

I just had my "magic man" technician do a yearly tune up. I was having this same problem, and it turned out the clips on the hoop arms were loose, so the hoop could move within them just enough to make a yicky looking mess. He adjusted them just a touch, and PERFECTION.

Thank you for your reply, Judy. I am pretty sure our technician tightened those up last year. I just checked and they are still tight. So I am not sure that is the issue. I may switch them out with another machine's and test it just to see.

How about the cable adjustments? Are they in spec? We just had all of ours replaced as some were looking a bit worn. Of course, now they need to be tightened again - as they are broken in.

Thank you, John. I will look into that as well. We have a 1200 item order coming up and I have to have this machine working!
