  • Need Help Hooping/Sewing Spandex

Is there a trick to working with material that has spandex in it. Special backing, strange hooping techniques, sewing speed? How do we keep it from puckering?

    Doug!

I believe I just saw some videos on how to hoop things with Spandex on embroiderytipsandmore.com. Sorry I can't be of more help but I know that Joyce has this info on her sight...

    Good Luck!

Elizabeth I have worked with spandex work out material alot and you have to adhere the back to the fabic. I use a lite spritz of spray adhesive. You have to be extra careful not stretch the fabic while hooping and I use 2oz cutaway backing. Hope this helps
