  • Need help in a hurry, please!

I was going down the line doing all of the maintenance steps. Everything was going great until I got to the last or second to last step. I'm not sure which one I was on--the 20,000,000 or 100,000,000. The 20,000,000 had reset the remaining stitches back to 20,000,000, so I think I finished that one.
Anyway, I had removed the right upper arm front cover, lifted the pressure foot while greasing the black plastic piece behind the white piece. (I believe the cam follower.)
It flashed a BIG sign to make sure I had the cover replaced or it could cause damage and a service would be required. I had the cover replaced, but as soon as I clicked okay, it will not continue. It keeps telling me the head is not up and it made a noise (not terrible) and tells me "there has been an error moving machine. maintenance will not continue." and "y timeout error. took too long to do y move."
Of course, I have an order due Monday. Is this going to require a service or can someone out there help me?
    Thanks so much!

    Cindy,
Try pushing the emergency stop (big red) button on the right side of the machine and then release it by turning the button. If that doesn't work, have you tried going to maintenance, head timing and clicking on head up, then okay? If all else fails and you can't get out of a window by clicking on the big red

Cindy, I don't know what I hit but somehow I prematurely sent the message before finishing my message. What I was going to say was, if clicking on the big red "X" in the window didn't close the error message, I would just reboot. That should do the trick! Debbie
