Yes, it's standard...but if you have a good tech that spends some time going over things and watching you test something...you get so much for tips and tricks it's worth the $100....

Melco customers are broken into territories and each territory has a set expense by Melco to cover travel expenses for a tech call. Some areas may be $100 and others more. Techs don't know how the territories are broken up--just know that they are.

I was charged $100 for all service calls until the last one before the warranty expired, that one was $150. I thought the price had gone up across the board.
