Color Change Stepper Index Error

I am only a few stitches into my design and I got an error: "Color change stepper index error-off index while sewing.
I've tried everything I know (which isn't much!!) to try and fix it.
Help!!!!

I am asuming that you have a non XT Amaya, if so, use canned air to blow out the two sensors that are behide the needle case, then give it another try. If that doesn't work you might need a new index sensor. If you would like to call, my number is 508-222-4433
