Font alignment

Please help! I am doing caps with the conventional hoop but for some reason now the outside border on my font is not lining up with the font...it looks like the whole "inside" letter is shifting but I have no idea why? I am only doing "W M" in athletic flair with an outline. Any suggestions as to what I need to check, or adjust? the font looks great on the computer screen.... thanks for any suggestions.

Are you doing M and then the border and then W and its border? That is the proper order and it cuts down on the shifting.
