Lag in starting up?

Ok, I have had my amayas for about 2 years now.
But the question i was wondering was does anyone else notice a lag when turning them on?
They used to start right up when I flicked the power, but now its takes almost 2 minutes for it to come on once i hit the power button in the back.
anyone else notice this?

Our Amaya starts up almost instantly, but we visited Mary over the weekend on the other side of the state-and her 'newer' Amaya took several minutes just for the light to come on! She said her husband needs an electrician to come in-and rewire the room.
Our entire office where the Amaya is in has 4 separate circuit lines, 20 am breakers-she is running in a spare room in the cellar-probably shares one breaker with everything down there.
Have you added more equipment-space heater, air conditioner, laser printer or copier-anything that is drawing more power than before?
