    Regarding the Tajima vs Amaya XT on caps ... I believe the Amaya has a slightly larger stitching area for caps as well.

    I think we can also add Barudan to the list of machines which do a real good job on caps.

    I have seen caps done on one of the Chinese machines by the dealer [I won't say which one] and they were terrible. Not sure if the stitch quality was any better of flats.

      well i looked at a tajima on Wednesday and honestly im not going to put the product down but the capabilities of a tajima arn't like an amaya. it just cant keep up. When i crank an xt up to 1300spm you can hear it roar. A tajima is only sewing at like 1000spm i think max. the machines look sturdier but not more flexible. so i would say go for the amaya. Ive had my troubles but im confident the machine is going to pull through it. Both good machines but flexibility wise amaya id go.
