  • column density has changed

Hello everyone!! I have been fighting with a 3500 stitch hat design for the last two days. The problem is that when I load the same design to two different machines, one of the machines is sewing it out at double the column width of the other machine. It's not just the lettering, but the whole design. Anyone out there have any idea as to why, and what might fix this problem? Any advice is very welcome. Thanks!!

Check your manual page 8-31. It's probably your problem.

Thanks for trying Juli, but both machine settings are the same. That doesn't seem to be the problem. I just switched over to a flat hoop on both machines to see if the results were the same, and wouldn't you know, they both sew the design the way it is intended to be. Just doesn't make any sense to me. Before I switched over, I checked to see if one of the hat drivers had more play in it, and they both seem to be equal. I think it's time for one of these-AAAUUURRRRGH!!!
