  • Madera Thread supplier

ok let me try this post again. I am looking for a good madera thread supplier in the southwest reagion of the good ole USA. We had a local supplier in Phoenix, Midwest Embroidery but they closed up shop. If anyone knows of one preferable in California, Utah, Nevada let me know. I tried one out of Colorado but it took one week to get a reply that they received my order and another week to get the thread.

    Thanks
    Cindy

call Madeira directly at 800-225-3001 They have several locations out west including 2 in CA. One in WA and one in TX. I'm sure it shouldn't take long to get to you.

http://www.ackermannna.com/Contact.html is the contact page and from there you can go to the national location map. Denver, CO, Gardena, CA,
North Carolina and Chicago are the 4 distributers.

The nice thing about Ackermann is they have the warehouse placed so they can reach about 90% of the US within 2 days UPS ground. I'm 2 days UPS ground from both Chicago and Charlotte so if one warehouse is out, I can order from the other. I try to order from Charlotte because it can get delayed coming from Chicago in the winter weather. I order most of my bobbins and backing from them too because MelcoMart is 5 days UPS ground. Someone in Denver hasn't gotten the hint that they need a warehouse on the east coast somewhere if they want more business. Embroiderers can not wait a week for supplies.
