  • How do I start at a specific point in a design...

    Hi Guys & Gals;

    I am a little frustrated with my Amaya OS. From time to time I make a mistake in a design I am sewing and would like to start over. However nearly half of, or all of the a large design is sewn correctly. Is there a tool in the AMAYA OS that allows me to start at a specific point in a half or partially sewn design (by skipping) some of what is already completed. Anything that might be faster than the (Frame forward) method and having to wait until the machine physically steps through the entire design... any help would be great

    Yes, there is an easier method!
    When you have an area that screws up, pause the machine and look at the stitch count in the Amaya OS window, lower right hand corner. Then go to the pull down menu and find the setting tab to 'move to ...' and here you can tell it to move to a particular color needle, or a exact stitch number. Then you can back up or go forward with the direction arrow/button on the machine.
    I don't have the program up and running now to tell you the exact tab to go to but it's there...we do it all the time. Usually when the bobbin runs out we have to back track a ways, and there is also that random brain fart when I put the wrong needle number in and have to start a certain color all over again.

      You can find that under "Settings", "Move", in OS
