OK, maybe it's just me, but I can't seem to find the information about re-installing & adjusting the rotary hook on a 2003 Amaya. When I went looking for the information in Amaya OS (my version is 7.00.029), I only found a couple of references to "See Hook Timing Adjustment". Imagine my surprise when it turns out there IS NO ENTRY ANYWHERE within the help system for "Hook Timing Adjustment"!!
And on top of everything, every reference to the rotary hook only shows the XT machine, and not mine! -sigh-
OK, so I went looking for the Technical Manual on the computer, and imagine my surprise to find out that the latest upgrade I got (which obviously was some time ago) seems to have removed my technical manual from the computer - so now the icon/link that's on the desktop can't find it on my hard drive! I looked manually on both the hard drive and the OS CD, and it doesn't exist. I think to myself, OK, no problem, I'll just download it from the Melco website. HA! (By the way, if anyone wants a serious lesson in frustration, try finding anything relating to this topic on the Melco websites.)
As you might surmise, I'm REALLY "happy" at this point.
Can anyone please assist me with getting this info? I really need to get this machine back up and running...
Thanks in advance for your help!
Jim
