  • Pocket Clamps

I just ordered the Amaya XT Pocket Clamp. The sales person on the phone said that we didn't need the micro clamp framing gauge because we already had the cap framing gauge, so I just bought the clamp. Will I be able to hoop/clamp pockets or do I still need the micro clamp framing gauge? I have some shirts that need to be done by Sunday and hope they were correct. I seem to remember from class there being a smaller framing gauge for the pocket clamp that fit inside the pocket.

    Thanks,
    Linus

I have the frames and have never used a framing guage for it. I put the frame on the machine then slide the pocket on. once on, i just tighten it up and roll on. been doing this way for 1 1/2 years with no problems.

I also just bought the pocket clamp, and was told I did need the framing gauge. So, of course, I spent the extra, and got it. Now I am not sure how to use it. The bracket is too wide for the table I use for the hat gauge. Is there something, I am missing?

How do you add the pocket hoop to the hoop list?

        Thanks,
        Linus

          Linus,
Click on "Tools", "Hoop Setup", and then click on "Customize Hoop List".
Check the hoops you want to see in your hoop list and uncheck those you don't. What you do in Design Shop will also be seen in Amaya OS and visa versa.
The pocket hoops you are looking for are all the way towards the bottom of the list labeled "Amaya Micro Clamp".
