Hi all -
Turn on my 2 XTs this morning and notice that one is taking a real long time to "wake up". About 4-5 minutes of waiting and it finally comes to life but something doesn't look right. My 9 year old who's quite astute at showing me the obvious, tells me that some of the lights blew out. I crane my neck under the needle bar and notice that the 6 rightmost lights (2 rows of 3) are not on. Being that these are LEDs, I don't think they have a short lifespan, so I'm wondering two things: first if this is somehow related to the long wakeup and secondly, what exactly I need to do about this. I've since turned the machine off and on and it seems to wake up in a more regular timeframe now. Aside from a further degrading of my eyesight, is there an issue with using the machine without these LEDs? Is it time for a service call?
thanks in advance
