No personal experience with these but on the Embroideryline there was a discussion on these and several people there have them for other machine types and really like them but you have to be careful not to do anything to heavy on them. This is the hoops that attach magnetically rather than clipping in right?

Not sure if the speed and vibration of the AMAYA would work the same with these but I would assume if they are selling them for the AMAYA then they have been tested for this.

I have one for my Brother HOME machine. It works great for thin stuff. I tried a thick bath towel and ended up spraying it down anyway. Grandkid had to have a NEMO towel. I moaned when I had to use the little machine.

I did not know they had them for commercial machines.

        Hi,

Since I like my Magna-Hoop Jumbo for my Bernina 730, I was interested to see if the Magna-Hoop Pro worked for the Amaya XT.

The only complaint I have is that the metal frame sits loose inside the supplied 11.5" plastic hoop. I remedied this by wrapping both the outer and inner hoops together with double-wide bias tape (http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog.j...RODID=prd34710) similarly like I did with the outer hoop of my larger Melco hoops. I wrapped enough bias tape to close the gap between the inner hoop and the metal frame for the plastic templates. Now the metal frame sits tight and does not jiggle with the speed of the Amaya XT. Consequently, the plastic template will not move once you hoop your project with the magnets. I hooped a thin layer of fabric with one layer of cutaway and the design registered perfectly.

You can order the Magna-Hoop Pro from Magna Hoop directly. However, I ordered it from http://www.sewforless.com/item/Unive...IGNS/8670/c435 because shipping was included and it came with 1000 free embroidery font designs.

I went ahead and ordered the Slim-Line 2 Chassis and a 12" x 9" window this morning anyway. Seems like it is similar to the Magna-Hoop, but either one may be easier depending on what I need to hoop.
