I just got my new Amaya XT! Took my 4 hrs to sew my first 3 letter word. Everything OK. Took me one day to mess with all the settings on OS. Now all the embroidery is looping on top. Getting Bobbin break and thread break messages (sometimes the thread in not actually broken).
Please help me understand the problem. Laugh with me. ( I'm sort of laughing but not really, because without help, it will take me one more week to sew my next 3 letter word)

Have you been to training?
Have you oiled the machine?
Do you have any experience?
Are you holding your mouth correctly?

Are you in Standard or Auto mode? Sounds like standard and the number is to high so its pushing more thread than you need. This would cause the looping and error messages.

Another thought is that your bobbin is not catching.

When Smokey starts acting like that, I double-check my hooping and underlay; take the bobbin out and put in a new one; make certain the thread is in the groove at the top; double-check the height of the thread tube; wonder if I'm having a static problem and hold a fabric softener sheet over the red pinch rollers while they run for awhile; then I load the shotgun with double aught shells and rack one into the chamber, letting Smokey see me do all of this, and set it in the corner next to the baseball bat. Works most of the time.
