  • Clear Design? help

Hey everyone, I have had my machine a few days and was wondering how to clear out a design that has already been loaded to the machine.
    Are you for Scuba?

        Clint,

If you need to clear a design that is loaded in the machine you can do it from the explore window. I have had to do this a few times because of a corrupt file.

Right click on start, go to explore, PROGRAM FILES/MELCO EMBROIDERY SYSTEMS/AMAYA/JOBS/MACHINE/CURRENT when you get to the current file, click on it and it will display the file name of the current file, just click on it and hit delete. You should then have a blank screen for that machine. If you want you can drag a short cut of the jobs file to your desktop so you wont have to go to explore the next time. As I said at the beginning of this post the only time I have had to clear a design is when a corrupt design has been loaded(or partially loaded) and I have had to clear it to load another.

This works great also for clearing a problem designs that don't load or you want to quit. Once Amaya OS got in a loop where it couldn't finishing opening a file and wouldn't cancel loading, just stuck.

So before executing the program go to

          Program files/melco/amaya/jobs/current

and eliminate the designs in the "current" file. Afterwards, start up Amaya OS.
