  • hooping system

I have been looking a several hooping systems and was wondering what all of you thought. I want the most reliable and easy system to use and train others on.

I would not waste my time looking ---just get the Hoop Master and be done with it. It has our vote.Check it out on line...http://www.hoopmaster.com/

      Clint:

We don't have a hooping system as we hoop by hand. I would suggest if you do hoop by hand get the embroidery buddy which you can find on embroidery.com makes marking the shirts so much easier and alot cheaper then a hooping system. I suppose someday we will invest in a system but for now this works for us...

      Good Luck!

Rod is right, get the hoopmaster! We are not a high volume shop-only the one machine, and sometimes it sits for weeks unused. But after ruining 24 expensive polo shirts because I 'thought' I had them hooped by hand evenly-and didn't check until too late-we ordered the Hoopmaster and put it to work the day it came in.
Not one shirt out of alignment since. I set it up for the size and hoop, and my wife takes over from there and I don't get anymore 'honey will you come check this before I start' every 15 minutes.
Every shirt from start to finish is exactly the same spot-but if you have to align to a crooked pocket, hey-that's a 5 second fix-just pull the shirt to align-don't move the hoop!
So it was the second best thing we ever bought-the Slim line clamp was the best! (Except THAT'S what I was using when I ruined the shirts! No more polos are done on THAT clamp.)

The hoopmaster was one of the ones I was looking at, but what about the All in one hooper?

              That is 100% correct!
I wish I had belonged to this group earlier then I did so I wouldn't have purchased the All In One Hooper first before finding out that the HoopMaster was the hot ticket. Now I have both, but only use my all in one for jacket backs.

No on the All in one Hooper! I had it and hated it. I got rid of it and got the HoopMaster. I have loved the HoopMaster from day 1!!!!

                    HOOPMASTER!!!!!!!!!!!

Costs a bunch but will you will get the cost back in a year or so in the garments you save from the trash bin.

Every once in a while you will see them used, only because people have changed machine brands or are getting out of the business.

Make sure you get the one for the AMAYA. They are not interchangeable!

I also purchased the All In One Hooper and only after my first job of shirts, the place where the hoop goes cracked. I called to request a refund, and was adamantly refused while receiving a lecture about how wonderful it is and how thousands of professional embroiderers are very pleased with it and how it is superior to the Hoopmaster. He send me a replacement part for the hoop piece. I'm stuck with it because I already invested the money. My advice is to go with the Hoopmaster. Wish I knew about this message board previous to purchasing one because it would have saved me aggravation and money.

GF - I'm heading to Marlton next week for a business trip. Maybe I could stop in your shop and chat for a while, talk AMAYA's and see how you guys do things. Might exchange some tips and pick up a thing or two from you.

email me at [email protected] when you get a chance.

Thanks everyone. I'm getting the Hoopmaster for sure. I think I'll use the board before I purchase anything...well, almost anything.

ps. does anyone have a hoopmaster for sale?
