  • Un-threading

    After a trim, the thread comes completely out of the needle and out of the bottom 2 holes in the thread feed path. Ideas?
    This is an XT machine.

    Janet,
    This sounds like what is described as a "slingshot" effect after trimming. Usually this is caused by your trimmer system being out of adjustment.
    Give me a call and I'll see what I can do to help you through this.
    Otherwise you'll need to have a tech look at it.

      It doesn't happen all the time. But in this run of 90 items at 16k stitches each, it does happen often enough to cause some frustration and delays. Still worth the phone call or is this normal?
