Ok, preliminary findings thus far include the following:

Western Caribbean
7 day Cruise
Classes wanted: Digitizing, Hats, Maintenance, Marketing, hooping and more...
Most have said they would pay extra for classes
February is winning for the month then July
Alot has said no opinion for cruise line but Royal Caribbean is next then Princess...

I think the more people that know about this the more fun it will be and the more we can all learn at this awesome function to be...

Tina, I tried to get in on the survey about the Amaya cruise, but was unsuccessful. So here's what I think. This sounds like an amazing idea. Could really learn alot and have some fun doing it. Would be interested in a 7 day cruise for the right price. Since I live way up here in Alberta it is a long way for me to go just for a 4 day cruise so I would not make it. Don't really care where we end up, but since winter is quickly approaching and snow is on the way, I'm thinking somewhere hot would be very satisfying. What a wonderful idea. Hope it comes true.

If you are willing to give a seminar on the cruise can you please email me privately so we can see who will do what and what we need to get in the way of teachers.

Thanks so much!

I'm not much for public speaking or organized teaching but I am a pretty smart feller How bout Q&A with Aaron Sargent. Yeah, I like the sound of that.

Or maybe I should just hide out in the back.

In all seriousness (since I was asked), if anyone is interested, I would be glad to do a class on web site design/development and search engine submission/optimization.

We'd cover the everything from soup to nuts (hosting, programs, design, updating etc.) - and could include Q&A / free form discussion at the end of the class.

Which question is that? I tried to enter 3 months for what time of year but it only lets you choose 1 so February was what I chose. Thinking this might be questions 5 and you are entering more than 1 like I did?

Here is a good website for learning HTML. http://www.htmlgoodies.com/primers/h...le.php/3478131
I have known HTML since 1995 so if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask. HTMLGoodies has been around for quite a while.

Let's see, there's Digitizing, Caps, Machine Maintenance, Marketing, hooping, Websites, Aaron's preferred Boxer Brands & Zoom Lenses, etc...
How about Melco's EMT/EMC line of machines? Might be some folks with Amaya's big brother who have questions.
Here's a crazy though, everyone that join's this group can offer up 1 or, say, 3 vendors that they like and the products that those vendors offer. This list would be compiled and returned to all those who contributed.
One more thought,...
I'm sure once Melco's Sales Dept. (Possibly International Sales) get's wind of this, they'll be interested in offering specials in software upgrades and machine packages as well. Maybe they'll step up and bring a machine or two since they already are familiar with the crating and shipment of machines to demo sites.

I'll hang up and listen now.

Hey Ed,

Now how am I supposed to enjoy my cruise walking around taking pictures in my boxers if I am attencding classes all day?

Some good ideas there and Melco supplying the demo machine is at the top of my wish list

Just to let you all know we can't have classes too early cause I got to get my rest after the wild nights on the cruise. i can usually rustle myself out of bed by 9 or 10 pretty easy though.
