  • selector stepper index error-not on index while sewing

Does anyone else have this message come up on their screen 15 times a day? I have no idea why it comes up, but have been told to ignore it. What is my machine trying to tell me? Is there really a problem or is it just moody?
Also, would like to say thanks to Margret for the advice on my needle breaks. I've been sewing on flats since, and the machine is sewing beautifully again. Very nice after a couple of frustrating days spent on hats.

I get the same error message however once I ignore it, my machine sews completely off pattern. I have followed the timing instructions and am still getting the same error message and problem. What do you recommend to do next to fix this problem
      Thanks

I'm having the same problem as Mobster. I've had these machines for 5 years and this has never been a problem. Now it seems to be happening a few times a day. From what I've been reading it doesnt appear that there's a fix. I just thought I'd report the problem and see if anything comes of it.

When was the last time any of you removed your trimmers took them apart and cleaned tbem? I was getting an occasionale message like the ones you are reporting I took my trimmera out disassembled them and cleaned them. Also under them where the selector is and have not gotten the error message since. you can also reset home on the selector when you get the error message to see if that solves the problem.
