  • Embroidery for Dummies

Iam a new user, and Iam doing a lot of trial an error, if any of you Professional Embroidery people would write a simple book on all the settings you have learned since you have had your machine you would probably make a killing, from all of us who are struggling to make things work, the manual they give you with the machine is very difficult for someone who has never done embroidery before.
I need a simple chart of different settings and instructions.
    thanks

Have you been to Melco training yet? If you purchased the machine from Melco, you have one year to go to training. It is a lot to learn in one week so I would suggest keep 'playing' with the machine and DesignShop so you are somewhat familar with them before you go. Your trainer will be able to answer your questions so keep a log or ask your specific here.

      Charlotte,
If you're looking for machine tips, this is the group to ask. If you're looking for general embroidery tips (not machine specific), try Joyce Jagger's website, www.embroiderytipsandmore.com.
Good luck! And try not to be frustrated about not knowing everything. Most of us are in that boat to some degree.

I have not seen this website and attempted to check it out... But either my browser or that website have been hijacked or the website has been moved. I get to Gator Host. Has anyone checked this out recently and been successful? Thanks.

If you are referring to www.embroiderytipsandmore.com, the server has been down since Saturday. Joyce is working fast and furious to get the site back up.
