Is anyone else having a problem with the design shifting in the middle of a clomun stitch? I have ahd this happen with 2 different designs and only sporatically. While in the middle of a column stitch the design shifts over about the width of the column. Melco has been very unhelpfull in solving this problem. It used to only happen with one particular file and reloadong the file from an archived version under a differnt name would solve it for a while. The latest incident happend with a file that was nothing but block text typeset in Designshop. Can anyone give me a clue as to what and why this is happening or if anyone else has experienced this problem???

Don't know if this is the same thing, but I have had what I think is the same problem. In my case it has happened after a thread or bobbin break and re-start. It shifted almost a 1/4" to one side. The last time was on an extremely expensive large piece of leather and I nearly had a heart attack. Fortunately the Custom Car Interior guy was very understanding and gave me another piece of leather. Once you've poked holes in a piece of leather theirs no going back. I believe it's a software glitch. When it's happened I note the stitch number I stopped at, reset the design, re-center, re-trace. Move to the stitch number and start again. Usually lines up in just the right spot as long as you don't un hoop. I have never called Melco about it. But I've worked with computers for years and tend to accept that sometimes there are glitches.
