1/2 inch letters

I need advice on pull comp and other setting for a nice 1/2 in letter in a 1x4 name patch. When sews out you can see through the stitches and material like perferated paper. E mail me at [email protected] and I can send a pic of my problem, thanks for any help...? Norma

What lettering package are you using?
What are your density settings?
Are you using auto density?
Are short stitches on or off?

I have wilcom es and amaya xt, pull comp is at 11 collum with is at 2 not sure where to find a density setting unless it is the fill setting which is set at 75% .. not sure about short stitches ? Thanks for trying to help Norma
