Tie Offs

    The inching stitch count may help with tie in's, but not tie offs. It just gives the machines a few more stitches to grab that bobbin thread and secure it before taking off at a high speed.

      Oh, yes, thanks, that makes sense. When you say "adding ties" -- is there a way to add a tie besides the automatic one?

        You will need to create a tie in DS, and save by going to the project tree, rt. click on it and select "save custom shape" which will place it with the other custom shapes, then change whatever you are working on to wireframe, and manually insert it wherever needed. Of course, this will depend on your level of software.
