I am new to embroidery. Received my AMAYA XT in late April. I have not been to the training as of yet but thought I was doing just fine on the jobs I was running. Until tonight. I ran a wine bag everything was fine. Loaded in the next one and almost at the end of the run I got a "Master machine detach" error. The needle is stuck in the down position. I went thru other posts to see if I could find anything similar. I tried to turn the machine off with the E-Stop button, that does not work and the OS program is no longer running, gives me a not responding error. What can I do. I have work I have to run tomorrow.

This happened to me when I first got my machine. I called Colorado and they told me to reach in the back center there is a long rod that goes fromk back to front turn this till the needle and holder comes back up. You may need to use two hands to do this..
I just got back from classes in NJ and it is well worth going, we had a wonderful teacher John who explained every thing in easy to understand terms. good LuckCarole<br />embhoop.com

Hi Jackie:
I have been getting the same error quite frequently and my machine is down right now as well. Sometimes if you shut the machine and OS down then start OS and then the machine and go into maintenance and do a head up it will get your needle back up.
I am no expert however this is what has worked for me when this has happened.
I agree with Carole the classes are well worth going as you will pick up something new.

Try turning the machine off with the e-stop and back on, sometimes it will bring it back to head up. If that doesn't work turn off the machine and turn it back on. If still no luck, go to the OS and tell it to go to head up. If it is still down you will have to turn off everything and restart the OS and the machine. If you centered the hoop before you started, write down what stitch you are on and you can get back to the same place without moving the hoop around.
Good Luck
