New Version 10 OS Troubles

Rod, any other techs, or anyone?????? When performing the rotary hook oiling this am, the machine only does 1 turn (cycle) to spread the oil, where it used to do several! What's up? Can't imagine that is doing much good at all, and the maintenance says the same thing as before, "that is will cycle several times". Not happening!! This was performed using the "timers" tab like usual. It walks you through the steps as before, but no cycling takes place. Hum. I can perform this using the maintenance tab, but I pity the first timer trying to do this, as the instructions for this do not include the fact you need to manually do the "head up" after performing the "spin hook" portion. Also, the maintenance timer does not reset back to what it should, so that also needs to be done manually. Is this going to be a problem with other scheduled maintenance timer reminders that pop up since I do not have the new XTS machines? (we have the after big red, tweeners) If so, should we even bother using version 10 which we were told would help get rid of some of the "gliches" associated with version 9.

Recieved a reply from my other group site and apparently the hook no longer spins during the rotary hook oiling process, however, guess they forgot to change the "step" directions from the old way. Anyway, less re-threading now needed, so that's a good thing!
