What are more possible causes for the thread to jump out of the needle at trims. Checked bobbin tension, needle position, lower limit setting, needle centered, needle depth, retaining finger. If it doesn't pop out, the bobbin thread is still attached, if the bobbin thread is cut, then the top thread pulls out of needle. Didn't used to do this. Haven't gotten anything stuck in the machine or anything like that to cause it to bend the trimmer and such. If I adjust the lower limit or thread feed, it works, but then thread breaks and won't sew decently. Any ideas???

Thread jumping out at trim

Have you actually watched it trim and then seen the thread pop out? Sometimes when I'm using metallic thread and the trimmer does not actually cut through the thread, the machine moves on to the next element thinking the thread is cut and -pop!- it breaks the thread which was still attached to the embroidery and slings it right out of the needle. If this is the case, perhaps your trimmer is dull.
