  • Amaya os lite problem

    I do not have the lite version but when I clicked on the os icon ,lite version comes up and will not let me load a design. What is happening? HELP??

    Do you have your dongle connected? That happens to me if I forget to attach it.

      Yes, I keep them in all the time. I had a problem yesterday and called melco because my group with the "A" alphabet icon was completely missing. It worked this am because I did a design but after digitizing, and trying to load it came up as OS lite and that is not what I have. I did reload my disc before calling Melco so I might have caused it myself, but I sure don't know how to fix it.

        Did you completely un-install the program before re-installing? In OS you will also need to delete the machine folders.

                I asked that question and he said there was a board inside and sometimes they stop working. No, not free, $90.00 plus $15 for 2 day delivery and return the old one.

                  That is melco for you a $5 part and they charge 20x the cost.

                      True they hold all the cards.

                      Not the company I thought I was getting involved with when I purchased.

                      Though I love my Amaya...

                      I just hate the feeling that they may service themselves out of business...
