FYI I want to share with you some new information I have received regarding the hoops made by Allied. I think their hoops are the best on the market today. They are strong, well made and I absolutely love all the markings on the hoops. They are working with HoopMaster as you can read in the below attached email from Amar. There is also a chance that Melco may be carrying them in the furture!

I wanted to send you an update on our hoops since we last spoke. As you may recall, we changed the outer hoop design of our round hoops from the small brass thumbscrew to the much larger adjustment screw. We have this new style available for all six round sizes (7, 9, 12, 15, 18 & 21 cm), and customers who have purchased them have the same reaction as you did to the redesign - they absolutely love them!
We have worked closely with HoopMaster with regards to our new hoop designs and their fixtures. HoopMaster is now offering a swap service where they will send you a modified fixture which can accommodate both types of our hoops, and you send your old fixture back to them after receiving the modified bottom board. This way, the customer is not without a fixture for any period of time. The cost of this service is only $51, and that includes shipping both ways! Customers can view additional information and purchase this swap service on HoopMaster's site: http://www.hoopmaster.com/allied.htm.
We have also created a 19 x 20 cm (7.5" x 8.0") hoop which features straight edge lips on all four sides of the inner hoop for extra assistance with proper hoop placement. We are developing three additional smaller sizes with a similar design (6.5" x 7.0", 5.5" x 6.0" and 4.5" x 5.0") which will be released in the coming months.
In a similar way, we have added four small lips to our 30 x 30 cm hoop. We will eventually be adding these lips to our 24 x 30 cm and 24 x 24 cm hoops as well. These new hoops are part of a line we are calling Premium Allied Grid-Lock (PAGL). I have attached images of our 15 cm round, 19 x 20 cm and 30 x 30 cm PAGL hoops for your reference.
We currently have an opportunity for Melco to start carrying our complete line of hoops.
