Flex not working

[Just Sew It]

I have two Big reds, one has developed a problem in the middle of a hat. It sews a small section, one word or line, and stops. If I push in the E-stop and turn it on, it will sew one more word.
Yesterday, I tried to change colors on one machine and a message said not allowed while the machine is running. The other Amaya was running.
Several days before that, only one machine would show up on the OS screen. No way to reach the other until the running machine stopped.
Anyone know what is going on?

What Version of software are you running.

I would do a clean un-install of the software and reinstall it. Turn off all firewalls and virus programs before installing the software tho. After the software is reinstalled, "right" click on the 3D icon in both DS and AOS and disable or uncheck the Hardware Acceleration boxes. I think that a design must be loaded to do this....

Oh....forgot a couple of things...Configure the machines as you start them up and do a Force download

Thank you, Rod. I have never had to uninstall and re-install and I need to get these jackets done on the other machine. I will try this first thing in the morning.

Rod, do I need all of the cd's with updates?I am using ver 7.00.118 OS.

You are good to go with what you have. As far as I know that is as high as Ver 7 went up to before the Ver 9 came out.
