The Amaya XT is not communication with the computer. I get the message Ethernet communication did not start correctly - reboot. Running Windows XP and the same ethernet cable since machine new. Red Emergency stop not the problem. Rebooted and no help. I am using V9.00.099. The machine starts and goes thru the ususl motions when turned on but the computer screen remains gray. Nothing has been done to machine since used yesterday. Any suggestions??

Check the cable, Un plug it and then follow it making sure there is no damage to it unplug the the other end and then make sure you have them both seated properly.
I had a mouse chew on an ethernet cable and took for ever to realize it was the problem. since it was in the middle of the cable.
Can't hurt to look.
also check and make sure the green and yellow lights are on where it plugs in the computer.
You may (not likely) have a blown network card. -
Problem solved. For some reason the machine was attempting to communicate with the computer thru wireless signal from printer. In Amaya os , tools - options - open ethernet page and select correct Ethernet option. I don't know why it changed.Comment
