Can you tell me what size line conditioner/UPS we should use for the Amaya's? Also, if you know of a good place to buy one please let us know as well.

    Thanks in Advance!

I use a APC 650VA which has an hour backup for computers (I have no idea what it is for embroidery machines.) The only thing on it is the machine (no computers or anything else.) We do get thunderstorms here in the summer and the power does flash a lot since I live 1 mile from a power sub-station. I haven't had to test it in the dark since the only I lost power was a hurricane we had here 4 years ago. I just needed something to keep the machine running to finish any design I was working on should the power fail.

This subject has come up before and because of that, I have included a nice one that we use in the Marketplace section of this site

      The APC works great....

Every embroidery shop should have good UPS and power conditioning protection. The APC XS1500 does an outstanding job of protecting your investment for a reasonable price. Ensure your equipment a healthy diet of stable current, even amidst power interruptions up to 110 minutes in duration. $150,000 Equipment Protection Policy and Data Recovery Warranty Two Year Product Warranty. Price is as of 9/06. Subject to change.
