Trouble with text

I have 2 Amayas, one is an XT and the other is the model before(Big Red). I have a hat design that has 3 locations and I loaded both machines with the same file. The machine settings are the same. When the design stitches out the old machine stitches the text "fatter" than the XT. The US Flag and the customer logo on the side stitch out the same.

It is baffling and I have 250 to get done right away! Any ideas???

How long has it been since you have had a tech go through your machines and re-tentioned your cables to specs, etc.?

It has been a while... Rod was the last tech to work on it a couple of years ago.

You can look in your help section & there are pretty simple instructions on how to adjust the tension on the X-axis cable. I just did one of mine on Friday- and it was way loose- made a great deal of difference in the way the machine ran & sounded. You do have to have the special guage- one came with each of mine.
