  • 3d foam and pressure foot height

I know you need to adjust the pressure foot when doin 3d foam so it doesn't pat down the foam, but my question is if you don't adjust it up will it damage the pressure foot?

Also the only way to do 3d embroidery and regular embroidery is to put a pair between the regual and 3d elements and then manually adjusting the foot?

    Thank you
    Chad

In standard thread feed, both ver. 9 and ver. 10 say 19; however if you are going to use auto, I'd go down on the column feed number and up on the fill number considerably.

yes have been adjusting the standard feed from 19-22.

but when i put a pause after the first 2 needles and then the needle for the foam. it pauses after each needle is done and i have to press start after each color... is this normal?

Instead of pause, try inserting a "hold"- this makes my machines stop just the one time in the design.

Gregory is right. Pause will insert a stop after every subsequent color change; hold inserts a stop only where it is placed.
