Help with Amaya!

I have an Amaya and not sure what is going on but I was sewing out some t shirts yesterday and when I went to the second shirt and loaded the design I needed and then tried sewing I got the following error:

Color change stepper index error- off index while sewing!

I have tried shutting everything down, head up, checked the stepper tab under maintanence and can not figure this one out. Anyone that can help please do so as I need to get these in the mail today...

Hi tina...get out your can of compressed air, check the manual if you have it-and locate where the 'index' electric eye is-one on each side behind the needle head.
Just stick the tube in around the pressor foot 'wheel' and blast away-do the same on the other side. You have dust or lint covering the electric 'eye' that tells the computer which needle it is on.
That's not all the technical gobbledygook but basic english explanation. Blast that out and it should restart fine. Make it a habit to do this every time you clean the bobbin head.
