Using keypad to orient design

How do you use the machine keypad to set the orientation of the design? I just remember you set the horizontal center at each side of where the design should run. I've seen it done before, but I can't remember how.

laser + < on the left side of your base line you want then move the the right side and laser + < and then when you hit Laser + Bulls eye it will orient the design centered on the base line you just set.

in the help menu it is under laser alignment.
